Returns and Refund Policy Terms.

Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase has been delivered, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Fully assembled or part assembled flat pack furniture cannot be returned. The furniture item must also be in the original packaging, so it is important to save the packaging when inspecting an item for suitability.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase, when you contact us, this can be your invoice number, if not available we can track your order from your name and address, we will always be as helpful as possible in making it as easy as possible to identify your order with GoFurn.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer, we will provide you with which of our GoFurn Furniture warehouse addresses to return your item(s) to once we know the furniture item you wish to return.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds or no refund is granted (if applicable)
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

Where you request that we arrange collection, the full cost of collection will be borne by you the customer and deducted from any applicable refund. If your delivery and collection location is outside of Kent or East Sussex we are unable to arrange a collection and return is your responsibility.

Where a product exchange is requested within our Kent or East Sussex delivery region a £20 restocking and collection fee will apply. For all other areas a £20 restocking fee will apply as well as the full cost of collection.

If you refund is approved then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5-7 working days. Refunds can only be made to or via the same method as the initial payment was received.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet within 7 working days of a refund being agreed, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us here at GoFurn.

Clearance items (if applicable):
Only regular priced or sale priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded. Clearance items and items sold as slight seconds or used furniture items sold by us are not eligible for return. If an item is sold by us as clearance, slight second or used it will be clearly identified as such by us

Exchanges (if applicable):
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email using the contact us page on the GoFurn website or call us Monday to Friday 09:30 to 14:30 on 01622 910055.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary, should you choose an exchange as opposed to a refund. We will always contact you and confirm exchange delivery times however.

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Transport & Delivery Returns:
To return your product, you should first check with us which warehouse address in either Canterbury or Maidstone, Kent to return to, dependent upon the type of furniture item being returned.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping or courier costs for returning your item. Shipping or courier costs are non-refundable. Where it may be possible for GoFurn to collect your return direct then a return cost shall be agreed with you prior to collection, this does not affect your choice to make your own return transport arrangements. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Where a delivery charge has been applied to your order this will not be eligible for a refund and will be deducted from any processed refund.

If you are shipping an item over £30, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
